The political bickering has driven this country insane, we've all become enemies and it's ridiculous. Obama won the election, the country voted. I for one am worried as hell, along with 57+ Million other Americans who did not vote for Obama.......but now I say do it. Do everything Obama asks for, raise taxes on the wealthy, quit fighting the health reforms, allow all government regulations, stop seeking answers about Fast & Furious, stop worrying about what happened to Ambassador Stevens and the three other Americans in Benghazi. Go along with all of it.
The press has proven over and over the last four years that nothing Obama does will be reported in a negative light. If Obama orders drones to kill militants but women and children are killed as well, the press says absolutely nothing. We all know without even mentioning it what they'd say if it were GW Bush.
The point is the election proved the majority in this country see controversial issues in a positive light if it's about Obama, and they see the same controversial issues in a negative light if a conservative is in the oval office. So be it.
Here's the thing, if Obama and the liberals are right, American is on the road to prosperity and equality. If he's wrong, we crash and burn. The "crash and burn" is what conservatives are worried about because when you are weak and on your knees strange things happen. Your enemies have a foothold, you no longer have any choices, you are beholden to outside forces. Who are the outside forces? Is it the U.N.? Is it the Muslim Brotherhood? Who steps in when America falls down?
The only way to find out is let it happen. I say give in and stop fighting. Conservatives will be aghast by what I'm saying, keep up the good fight they will say. Liberals will be snarky that I would imply Obama will crash the economy.
I say let it happen. The only way to know who is right is to allow the inevitable. I believe we are at a crossroad in this country. I don't want to see four more years of kicking the can down the road from a bickering divided congress. I'm tired of hearing the never ending crap. If it continues for four more years, at the end the Dems will win and say they couldn't achieve anything because of the do nothing congress....and they'll need four more years. The Republicans will fall into the same trap as they did this election which was dance around the issues and not be specific enough for people to understand. Replace Obamacare....with what? What the hell is Obamacare anyway? Nobody even knows exactly. Change the tax code and deductions.....to what? Become energy independent....why didn't we do that years ago? Left it a bit late wouldn't you say?
